:: CDR @ Sumo

Tue, 13 Jun 2006

A fantastic opportunity for music makers to talk to other like minded individuals and to hear thier own tracks on a large system, as well as get industry advice and maybe recognition for their work. The CDR crew have just released an album of works submitted at their popular CDR night @ Top London club Plastic People, therefore there is a chance for people submitting cdr's on the night to gain further exposure both nationally and internationally.

During it's emergence over the last couple of years C.D.R has collected critical acclaim from both the music and national press. This innovative and successful night which has been hosted at the fantasic London club Plastic People comes to Sumo - Leicester in June.

About CDR

Tony Nwachukwu of Attica Blues, has become inspired, not only by his own musical productivity but by the work of fellow ground-breaking musicians and producers, to set up a platform for the airing of new ideas, works in progress, unreleased songs, remixes, and edits.

From the confines of music manifested within laptops, bedroom studios, sampling sequencers and digital multi-tracks. Music producers can at last air their tunes to a like-minded audience within the setting of an intimate venue.

Open CDR

The CDR sessions features a section of the night where tracks submitted by fellow music producers are played.
The music policy is simple:

  • Expressive electronic music.
  • Vocals and songs encouraged.

Your CD should be submitted at the beginning of the session. Please include your name, track titles and an email address.
