Pineapster are to curate the first official Summer Sundae Weekender fringe festival. A wide range of artistic events will occur across the city from Sunday 5th August to Sunday 12th August, including a series of warm up parties on Thursday 9th August. Public Relations Exercise are to release their debut album through Field Records on April 2nd. To celebrate there is to be a launch party at Firebug on April 7th, featuring local bands Her Name is Calla and redcarsgofaster. The night will be compered by "Leicester's funny man" - Dave 'the bullet' Reiss.
The album will be availble in all good record stores, as well as at the gig.

Hinterland have been announced as tour support to cult US Punk/Metal band AMEN. The UK and European tour will commence 26th February with a Leicester date secured at Leicester Square on Tuesday 6th March. Due to admin problems with US and UK immigration this tour has been rescheduled. See this thread for complete details.

Pineapster Communion turns 5 by hosting the official summer sundae warm up party at Firebug. 3 bands, DJ’s, dancing till late, 300 tickets only. It’s the official warm up party to start the festival weekend. Previous Summer Sundae bands are appearing.
