On Saturday May 19th 2007, Ghosttown Promotions shall be hosting Coventry's first all day electronica and experimental multi-media festival 'Sonic Boom!' at Taylor Johns House. Working with local Visual Jockey's we shall be producing live feed visuals alongside the live music. The day will consist of local and national musicians over eight hours.

Ghosttown Promotions has been working voluntarily over the last year at various venues across the city to help regenerate the live music scene. After holding experimental music nights 'Soundscape' at The Tin Angel, Spon Street monthly since May last year; We are now coming to our first year anniversary and so believe that we should stage a larger scale event that explores and appreciates an array of music genres.

At Sonic Boom! expect to see the clashing of titans where Misterlee and Bruce Coates will be bringing you the ultimate improv battle off. Unique...I think so.

Nick Hudson

After encountering the works of Jandek Hudson (Brighton based) opted to launch himself into a rigorous regime of writing/recording and outlined what would eventually manifest as The Phoenix Diaries - his seven-album cycle on transformative, restorative themes. The first of these, Home and Deranged, was born between October 2004 and January 2005, and was a raw, tender, desolate statement of the impotence and isolation he felt whilst living back home.
